Carpenter
Position Summary
The Carpenter performs skilled residential remodeling work including demolition, framing, installation, and finish carpentry. This role works closely with the crew to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently in occupied homes. Basic Spanish communication is required to work effectively with team members and ensure safety on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform demolition, framing, blocking, and general carpentry
- Install cabinets, trim, doors, hardware, and finishes
- Follow plans, scope, and direction from Foreman
- Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites in occupied homes
- Communicate daily tasks and needs with crew
- Protect client property and maintain professionalism onsite
Qualifications
- 1+ year of residential construction or carpentry experience
- Basic Spanish speaking required for crew communication and safety
- Ability to read tape, level, and basic plans
- Equipped and competent with common hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet daily
